Renoir Kobashi (aka Krishan Oberoi) is an American composer and lyricist of French-Canadian and Burmese-Indian descent. He was born in New York and attended Yale University. Theatrical roles include Don John in Much Ado About Nothing, Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd and most recently, Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream (August 2022). His first composition was published in 2022 with Santa Barbara Music Publishing- a musical setting of the poem "Telescope" by British poet Kate Wakeling.
